Edward Westwick, famously known as Ed Westwick, is an English actor and musician born on June 27, 1987 in Stevenage, Hertfordshire to parents Carole and Peter Westwick. At a tender age of six, he was already seen as a child who is very interested with music and drama. During his childhood, he took music lessons and joined the Top Hat Stage & Screen School, a Saturday drama school which greatly enhanced his acting skills. Deciding to pursue acting, he had his first screen appearances in the year 2006, portraying roles in TV series Doctors, Casualty, and Afterlife. The same year, he also had a taste in film acting as he appeared in notable flicks Children of Men and Breaking and Entering. In 2007, he had his big break when he was cast as Charles “Chuck” Bass in the American teen drama TV series Gossip Girl. The said TV series gave him to opportunity to work with co-stars Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Chace Crawford, and the rest of the casts. Presently, he is filming two upcoming films which will be aired next year– Kitchen Sink and Bone in the Throat.
To come up with a ripped physique, Ed regularly works out at the gym and trains with his personal fitness coach. His workout regimen mostly consists of weight training. According to the actor, he wanted to have his muscles more defined and toned, that’s why he focuses more on weight training.
His diet is not known, but given the fact that he’s building more muscles, we believe he’s increasing his protein intake.
