Drea de Matteo is an American TV actress. She was born on January 19, 1972 in Queens, New York. The daughter of Donna and Albert A. de Matteo, she is known to have both Italian and American ancestry. Eventually after graduating from Loyola High School, she enrolled at New York University and participated at Tisch School of the Arts. She first came into the scene in the year 1996 when she was cast on the TV series Swift Justice for an episode and particularly played as Laurie Tuco. Three years after, she participated on the TV series The Sopranos and appeared as Adriana La Cerva. She then became more prominent when she was cast on Joey, portraying the role Gina Tribbiani from 2004 to 2006. Other than that, she also had significant appearances on popular TV series including Desperate Housewives, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, and CSI:Miami. Presently, she stars as Wendy Case on Sons of Anarchy.
After she delivered her baby, Drea didn’t instantly drop into her original size. She said, “It took me three years to lose the baby weight – and I still have the last 10 pounds to go.”
When she eventually lost some weight, she explained that she didn’t exert any effort. “I don’t work on it,” according to the actress. “I also love to eat. Eating is my life. I did an exercise video while trying to lose the weight. But the whole video is me eating and the trainer trying to make me work out.”
Well, that’s really funny, but she’s doing a great job! She’s one lucky woman.
