Derek Hough - CelebHealthy_comAmerican dancer and choreographer Derek Hough became famous when he was highlighted in the famous dance competition TV show Dancing with the Stars. This gorgeous and talented celebrity was born on May 17, 1985 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The fourth among five children of Marianne and Bruce Hough, he also has a sibling who became prominent in dancing and she’s known as Julianne Hough. When he was still 12, he moved to London and trained dancing under the guidance of trainers Corky and Shirley Ballas. Few months later, his sister Julianne flew to London and joined him. In 2002, he became the champion of IDSF World Youth Latin. He also earned LA Outstanding Dancer of the Year and the New York Dance Alliance Outstanding Dance awards. He then made a remarkable turn on his career when he appeared on the fourth season of Dancing With The Stars and guested as an instructor with Julianne and Apolo Anton Ohno.

Derek mainly resorts to dancing. It’s his main workout routine. This form of exercise does him great as it gives his body flexibility and toned muscles.

For his diet, he uses a program called Freshology. According to him, “Freshology is the best. It is my lifeline of staying healthy and fed. It feels good to eat right, but it’s not always easy with my intense rehearsal schedule.”
