Daria Werbowy, a Ukrainian-Canadian model, was born on November 19, 1983 in Kraków, Poland. A student of St. Sofia Ukrainian Catholic Elementary School and Cawthra Park Secondary School, she once entered a national modeling competition and won at the age of 14. While growing, she didn’t consider modeling, not until she met her schoolmate’s mother who managed the modeling agency called Susan J. Model & Talent Management in Toronto. Later on, she decided to switch to Elite Model Management and eventually became one of the models who presented the creations of designers Prada, Chanel, Landome, Roberto Cavalli, Gucci, Valentino, David Yurman, Missoni, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, Pepe Jeans, Louis Vuitton, Oroton, and Hermes. In 2003, she was highlighted in the cover of Vogue Italia thrice as well as in Prada’s Fall/Winter ad campaign. A successful model, she was also regarded by Vogue Paris as one of the top 30 models of the 2000s.
Now how does the supermodel take care of her body and maintain a statuesque figure? According to her in one of her interviews, “When I’m working I always make time to get exercise into my schedule. But I am currently sailing with my family and it is hard work, swimming a lot, etc.” She also shared that she loves to jog. It’s simply one of the best cardio workouts for her. In addition, she adores Yoga–particularly Ashtanga Yoga.
