Christine Helen Lakin is an American actress. She was born on January 25, 1979 in Dallas, Texas to parents Karen and James Daley Lakin. Growing up in Georgia, she graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Prior to fame, she started as a model for commercials. It was in 1990 when she had her first taste in screen acting and was cast in the television film The Rose and the Jackal.
Because of her effective acting, she was given series of roles afterwards and these include roles in TV series Step by Step, 7th Heaven, 3rd Rock from the Sun, and Promised Land. She also had remarkable roles in films Race to Witch Mountain, Valentine’s Day, Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2, Alpha and Omega, and Parental Guidance. Presently, she appears as a judge in the online video-making talent competition Internet Icon.
Christine takes care of her body by doing exercises in a regular basis. Her exercise routine mostly consists of hiking, Pilates, Yoga, and Cardio Barre sessions. Other that these exercises, she is also a dance enthusiast. “I grew up dancing, and for a while in college, I was a gym rat,” Christine shared. “I finally realized.. I’m going to create a little more balance in my life and make exercise something that I enjoy doing. So I went back to dance when I started doing more musical theatre, and I’ve just found that it’s the best thing that works for my body.”
