Christie Brinkley, originally Christie Lee Hudson, is an American model and actress born on February 2, 1954 in Monroe, Michigan to parents Marjorie and Herbert Hudson. Her career started in 1973 when she was discovered by the American photographer Errol Sawyer in Paris. After that encounter, Errol took modeling pictures of her and eventually introduced her to the modeling agent and scout of Elite Model Management, John Casablancas. Soon after, she got multiple exposures of Glamour magazine and several other magazines such as the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Edition covers, Vogue, Esquire, Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, and Newsweek. She also modeled for several brands including Prell, Chanel No. 19, Diet Coke, Got MIlk?, Healthy Choice, Nissan, Clairol, and many others.
Even now that she’s already 60, Christie can still rock her body even in bikinis! That’s because she still has that bangin’ body in her twenties. So what’s the secret behind? Well, according to the model-actress, “I’ll run or do weights, and I do at least 10 minutes a day on my Total Gym machine. However, it’s important to have fun and mix it up! I got hooked on SoulCycle this summer and during my Christmas vacation, I did yoga. I credit doing Chicago on Broadway for my legs [but] I do leg lifts while brushing my teeth!”.
She’s also particular with her diet. “I like to start my day with coffee and coconut milk hazlenut creamer,” Christie shared. “Then I have sheep’s milk yogurt with fruit, wheat germ and Anutra (a supplement full of omega 3 antioxidants and fiber). Lunch is usually leftovers from dinner: beans, veggies.”
