Christian Marie Serratos was born on September 21, 1990 in Pasadena, California, United States. She is an American actress, better known for the role Rosita Espinosa in AMC’s “The Walking Dead” TV series, based on the comic book of the same name. In 2010, she became more noticeable when she was ranked No. 65 on Maxim’s “Hot 100” list.
When Christian was interviewed by Style Bistro and was asked about her workout routine, she said, “I’m not a good worker-outer to begin with! Don’t get me wrong, I love to work out, it’s just that getting me to do it is a task. I did the Cirque fitness class, I tried pole dancing classes— those are fun—and ballet barre, and I absolutely am obsessed with those types of classes but it’s not something I do on a daily basis. So when I went out to film and learned what it entailed, I definitely made sure that I worked out, because I would wake up sore just from carrying around all the heavy guns and stuff.”
For her diet, she said, “I haven’t always been super healthy, there was a time when I was essentially a human garbage disposal, I would put anything in my body and didn’t care. My three meals a day would be Taco Bell. It was pretty bad. But slowly, just educating myself, it wasn’t something where I woke up one morning and said, ‘Oh, I’m going to change everything.’ It happened slowly, and over time, but now I’m here and my diet is completely changed. If somebody told me five years ago that I was only going to be drinking water, and that I was only going to be eating, essentially, raw and organic foods, I would have told them they were insane. But that’s where I am now, and it just happened. I just stumbled upon it.”
