Carrie-Anne Moss, a Canadian actress, was born on August 21, 1967 in Burnaby, British Columbia to parents Melvyn and Barbara Moss. It was in the year 1991 when she first appeared on screen, portraying the role Tara McDonald in the TV series Dark Justice. Because of her impressive performance, she eventually landed several roles which include the role as Jane Tanner on the film The Soft Kill — which was her first film appearance. Soon after, she became part of different TV series and films. Some of these were in films The Secret Life of Algernon, The Matrix, New Blood, The Matrix Reloaded, Fireflies in the Garden, Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, The Clockwork Girl and TV programs Silk Stalkings, Baywatch, F/X: The Series, Due South, Pretty/Handsome, and Vegas.
Right after auditioning for a role on The Matrix, Carrie-Anne undergone series of trainings as a requirement for the film. According to her, “The first day of which was 3 hours of running, kung fu and taping all these different fights. A really intense 3 hours of just brutal training from which I couldn’t walk for days.”
Now that’s a lot of work! It explains why Carrie-Anne developed a really toned body while filming the said flick.
