Carli Lloyd - celebhealthy_comCarli Anne Lloyd is an American professional soccer midfielder. She was born on July 16, 1982 in Delran Township, New Jersey, United States. She is currently playing for Houston Dash in the National Women’s Soccer League and the United States women’s national soccer team. She attended college at Rutgers University after graduating High School from Delran High School. Her career in soccer officially started in 1991. Since then, she became a remarkable sports woman.

When asked by Women Fitness about her fitness regimen, Carli revealed, “I do a variety of different things to continuously build my fitness levels. I’m constantly working at my aerobic power, non-aerobic power and strength and power doing body weight exercises. I also spend countless hours stretching. Over 50% of my training load is fitness related.”

Now what about her diet? “I have studied what foods suit my blood type and have designed a specific diet that energizes me,” she said. “My diet is made up of a lot of fruit and veggies, salads, meats, and fish. I make shakes with all organic items and have invested in grass fed beef and non-farmed fish. My snacks are mostly different types of nuts and water is a huge part of my life. I definitely stay away from processed foods. Eating healthy definitely helps in all aspects when it comes to training and performing.”
