Candace Cameron, now Candace Cameron Bure, is an American actress, author, and producer. She was born on April 6, 1976 in Panorama City, Los Angeles, California to parents Robert Cameron and Barbara Bausmith Cameron. She realized that she wanted to become an actress because of her brother Kirk’s influence to her on acting. Prior to fame, she started off as a model for advertisements. It was in the year 1982 when she was highlighted as a guest in the American medical drama TV series St. Elsewhere. Eventually, in the year 1984, she made another TV exposure when she played the role Tina in T. J. Hooker. Delving deeper into the world show business, she didn’t let the opportunity slip off her hands when she was asked to play the role Cindy Nelson in the 1987 film Some Kind of Wonderful which was her first ever big screen appearance. Other films she participated were Punchline, Monster Mash, The Krew, The Wager, and recently To the Wall.
During Candice’s interview with Us Weekly, she stated that she works hard at the gym to be able to achieve her dream body. “I work out four to five days a week,” she said. “I lift heavy weights; that’s what I enjoy doing to keep building muscle. My cardio is minimal, which made it a little harder for the jive. That was a challenge for me because, as great shape as I’m in, I’m not in great cardio shape. I like strength and power moves, and I like running races.”
She also said that practicing a portion control diet helped her a lot and that eating in moderation is really important to keep up a healthy and ideal weight.
