American actress Elizabeth Jean Philipps, better known as Busy Philipps, was born on June 25, 1979 in Oak Park, Illinois, USA. Growing up, she has attended school at Chaparral High School and Loyola Marymount University. She first came into the television screen in the year 1999 when she was cast for the role Mindy in the TV series Saving Graces. Later on, she was again hired for the another project which was to play the role Kim Kelly in the TV series Freaks and Geeks. Her first appearances were quite notable that’s why a lot of producers were chasing after her. Her breakthrough came in the year 2001 when she played the role Audrey Liddell in Dawson’s Creek.
