He was born on August 19, 1946 in Hope, Arkansas to parents William Jefferson Blythe, Jr. and Virginia Dell Cassidy. He married Hillary Rodham in the year 1975 and was eventually elected attorney general in the state of Arkansas the year after. Because he had a calling for politics, he ran for the the governorship in the same state in 1978 and successfully won. For over 40 years, he served as a governor and was even recognized as the youngest governor during that time. It was in the year 1992 when he was elected as president. His downfall happened in 1998 when he was impeached by the House of Representatives.

Now how does the ex-president keep himself in good shape even at the age of 67? Well, according to him, he just exercises in a daily basis. He walks daily, particularly two to three miles per day.

More importantly, he observes a vegan diet. He admitted in one of his interviews that at first, practicing a kind of diet really made him struggle. “The main thing that was hard for me actually — much harder than giving up meat, turkey, chicken and fish — was giving up yogurt and hard cheese,” he shared. In addition, he shared a helpful insight to everyone. “A lot of people who are busy and stressed feel that eating and being comfortable is their reward, but you have a responsibility to try to be as healthy as possible for your family,” he said.
