Biljana Golic, otherwise known as Biba Golic, is a Serbian table tennis player. She was born on the 9th November 1977 in Senta, SFR Yugoslavia. At the age of nine, she started to develop an enthusiasm in playing table tennis. Her amazing skills in the said sport led her to become a member of the Serbian National Cadet team when she was 12 years old. And for about ten years, she was able to play for the Serbia senior national system and became a Balkan Champion in Mixed Doubles. When she reached college, she studied at Texas Wesleyan University for 18 months under an athletic scholarship. Presently, she is regarded as one of the most prominent sports person in the world.
Now what’s her secret to become fit and healthy? “Jump Roping, Running and strength training are the primary exercises I use to stay in shape when I am training. Table Tennis training especially multiple is very taxing physically,” she shared in an interview.
She also said that she prefers to eat healthy foods rather than foods that are delicious yet do not offer health benefits to the body. According to the table tennis star, “In general I try to eat a variety of healthy foods and vegetables but don’t have a special diet.”
