Betty Cantrell - celebhealthy_comBaciliky Andris Cantrell, better known as Betty Cantrell, is an American beauty pageant titleholder. She was born on September 1, 1994 in Warner Robins, Georgia, United States. The daughter of Mike Cantrell and Tassie Cantrell, she was educated at Mercer University and Wesleyan College. It was on September 13, 2015 when she was crowned Miss America 2016. She is actually the first Miss Georgia to be crowned Miss America since Neva Jane Langley, Miss America 1953.

Betty is of course, a health-enthusiast. She said in an interview, “I grew up in a household where being healthy was everything. My dad is a nutritionist and both of my parents are physical therapists. We didn’t have Pop-Tarts for breakfast, we had hard-boiled eggs … but I realized that not all children are fortunate enough to have parents who are able to afford to give them healthy foods.”

Now let’s talk about her particular diet. “I was traveling all the time and I couldn’t always eat the healthiest option,” Betty said. “But it’s all about eating things in moderation. You can have some unhealthy things, but make sure you don’t do it all the time. I was careful about what I ate, and I tried to eat every three hours to keep my metabolism flowing.”
