Born on October 29, 1980 in Boston, Massachusetts, American actor Ben Foster is the son of restaurant owners Gillian Kirwan and Steven Foster. He started acting when he was 16. Later on, he dropped out of high school to go to Los Angeles to better find his acting career. His first screen appearance happened in 1996 when he played the role Tucker “Tuck” James in the Disney Channel original series Flash Forward. The same year, he was cast in John Mallory Asher’s Kounterfeit where he was able to work with Bruce Payne and Hilary Swank. He also played part in films Liberty Heights, Bang Bang You’re Dead, The Punisher, Hostage, X-Men: The Last Stand, 3:10 to Yuma, and 30 Days of Night. Other than films, he also played parts in TV programs Freaks and Geeks, Boston Public, and Six Feet Under. In 2012, his name became controversial because of his relationship with actress Robin Wright. Currently, he is engaged to the actress.
