American singer, songwriter, actress, author, director, and film producer Barbra Joan Streisand was born on April 24, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York. She is the daughter of Diana and Emanuel Streisand. When she was still seven, she was already seen as a child with incredible talent in music as she used to perform solo at the Jewish Orthodox Yeshiva of Brooklyn. It was in the year 1955 when she recorded her first demos, particularly being signed with Nola Recording Studios in New York City. “Zing! Went the Strings of My Heart” and “You’ll Never Know” were the first two songs she sang during that time and she was eventually noticed. She then had a long series of Gold records and eventually earned several awards. Other than her involvement in the musical industry, she is also known as someone who supports the Democratic Party.
Years ago, Barbra used to indulge herself in different exercises. She used to attend Yoga sessions as well as Pilates. She even bought some exercises machines. But she didn’t really stick to her routine longer.
Barbra shared during her Perez Hilton interview that she has tried a fad diet before, a diet that involves eating foods with low amount of carbohydrates and high amount of protein but unfortunately, it didn’t work for her. Nowadays, she doesn’t entirely think too much about exercising and diet. She just lives her life to the fullest and eats whatever she wants as long as she’s not overindulging.
