Ayushmann Khurrana - celebhealthy_comAyushmann Khurrana is an Indian film actor and singer. He was born on September 14, 1984 in Chandigarh, India. The husband of Tahira Kashyap, he started to become noticeable when he joined the MTV Roadies (Season 2) and successfully won. Since then, his appearances on screen became constant. He even earned the opportunity to appear on “Fantastic 5” from 2008 to 2009. Presently, he stars as an anchor on the TV program “Super Star Buzz”.

How does Ayushmann keep his body fit? Here’s what he said in an interview with Film Fare: “I’m a compulsive jogger. I can even jog at 11.30 pm if need be. As an actor, it’s necessary to undergo rigorous fitness regime for certain roles. In Yash Raj Film’s Bewakoofiyaan, I play a fit corporate guy with a toned body who plays squash. So I asked my trainer, Vinod Channa, to help me develop six-pack abs. I jogged five times a week and did weight training for three days a week.”

Now what’s his diet like? “I love Punjabi and Mughlai cuisines,” he shared. “During Vicky Donor, Shoojit and I would binge. Every time I couldn’t do a shot properly, Shoojit would tell his assistants, ‘Isko kuch khilao pehle.’ I am like an overgrown kid. My mind doesn’t work if I am not well-fed. My trainer would travel with me while shooting for Bewakoofiyan. He used to keep a check on my diet because I am so used to having ghee, aloo ka paratha, butter chicken and other fat rich foods. Now that Bewakoofiyaan is over, I am on an eating spree. I eat everything but I restrain myself from eating carbs after 6pm. I don’t even have fruit or juices after 6pm. When I’m at home in Chandigarh, I don’t think about any gymming or maintaining a diet. I do jog but I don’t stop myself from eating everything. I have a good metabolism. When I was in 11th standard, I was so lean, I weighed 50 kilos with a 26 inches waist for 5 feet 9 inches height. Nobody could have thought I could get so bulky, and have six-pack abs. People say you should keep a check on what you eat but I feel dieting is for those in their mid 30s. I’m 29 now. I want to eat everything.”
