Ariel Yenhua Hsing is an American table tennis player who competed in the 2012 Olympics. She was born on November 29, 1995 in Fremont, California, United States. She was 15 years old when she became the youngest U.S. table tennis national champion in history in 2010. In the year 2011 and 2013, she became a champion. She also became the bronze medalist in women’s team and women’s singles during the 2011 Pan American Games. When she was still a junior, she was also ranked as high as 4th in the world in both the cadet (U-15) and the junior (U-18) age group. Just recently, she became the first American-born player in the China Table Tennis Super League, associating under Zhejiang Jinhua Bank.
When it comes to food preferences, here’s what Ariel said in an interview: “I’m always on the go. I try to opt out of unhealthy fried foods by having a salad or Chinese take-out.”
But like any other person, she also has some weakness when it comes to foods. She elaborated, “Chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream, donuts with vanilla frosting and sprinkles, crepes with whipped cream, M&M cookies, and anything fried.”
