Amy Alcott is an American professional golfer and golf course designer. She was born on February 22, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. It was in the year 1975 when she became a member of the LPGA Tour. That time, she won five major championships and 29 LPGA Tour events in all.
Other than that, she also became a member of World Golf Hall of Fame. Her first major championship victory happened in the year 1979 at the Peter Jackson Classic. In 1980, she joined the U.S. Women’s Open and eventually won. She also joined the Nabisco Dinah Shore and won three times.
