A celebrity who came from a Bengali family, she started her career in acting in the year 2008, particularly portraying the role Nandini on the film Meravanige. Soon after, she was seen portraying various roles on flicks such as Mast Maja Maadi, Junglee, Vayuputra, and Love Guru. In 2009, she took part on the film Manasaare and was able to gather three different awards and one nomination in honor of her impressive performance on the said film. In 2010, she was also nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Kannada for her performance on Veera Parampare. These days, she is considered as one among the successful Indian actresses in show business.

So, what’s her exercise routine? According to the actress in an interview, “I do not go to the gym nor do I exercise much at home. When I am bored I like to go for a swim though. It’s one of the best ways to relax as well as burn some extra pounds.”

For her diet, she confided, “I have the most unhealthy diet you might have come across in any person. I love all the cheesy, buttery, creamy and chocolaty food. I am a big foodie. I eat without a hint of guilt as my higher metabolism rate helps me stay in shape despite all the gorging and hogging. But I make sure I eat a lot of vegetables and fruits– it’s very important for the skin, nails and hair. Most importantly drink plenty of water. It keeps your body hydrated and flushes out all the toxins.”
