American actress, former fashion model, and musician Torrey Joel Devitto was born on June 8, 1984 in Huntington, Long Island, New York. The daughter of Mary and Liberty DeVitto, she studied elementary at Fort Salonga Elementary School. While she was still a child, she had violin lessons and eventually experienced joining and winning violin competitions. Prior to fame, she worked in commercials and was signed to Ford and Avenue One modeling agency. She experienced her acting debut in the year 2003 when she guested for an episode on Dawson’s Creek. The same year, she also starred for a minor role in an episode of Scrubs. Her first appearance on big screen happened in the year 2005 when she was cast as Maura on the film Starcrossed. It was also in 2005 when she achieved her breakthrough and was cast for a main role on Beautiful People. In one of her interviews, Torrey said that she loves to rejuvenate by meditating twice a day. And she’s also a fan of hula hoop dancing! She said that everyone should always value health and put importance on it. “Do not take health for granted,” she advised.
When asked about her diet, she said that she’s practicing a pescatarian diet and is working toward vegan diet.
