Tony Jaa-Celebhealthy_comMartial artist, physical educator, actor, choreographer, stuntman, and director Tony Jaa, was born on February 5, 1976 in Surin Province, Isaan, Thailand.  At an early age of 5, he started his Mhuay Thai training at the local temple and became a protégé of stuntman at the age of 15.  Aside from Mhuay Thai, he also earned a background in Taekwondo and other Kung Fu styles as well as Krabi Krabong, Kino Mutai, and Lethwei.  All of which were visible in highly grossing films, Ong Bak and Tum Yum Goong.  On May 28, 2010, he became a Buddhist monk at a Buddhist temple in Surin and when he left the monastery, he continued to flourish in his acting career.  He will have his Hollywood debut film with Michael Jai White in the top-grossing “Fast & Furious 7”, where he will portray the role of Louie Tran in 2015.

He’s definitely an athlete and he proves that with the strength of every muscle in his body.  Aside from doing Mhuay Thai, he also spends 30 minutes to an hour each day, warming up with gymnastic exercises and Thai kickboxing moves.  He also meditates daily.  Instead of lifting weights, he practices his balance by jumping from one elephant to another.

To keep his energy while doing his daily activities, he includes a lot of bread and milk in his diet, as well as papaya salad and sticky rice.  He does not take any protein shakes but sees to it that his body is fed with natural foods.
