Thomasina Miers - celebhealthy_comThomasina Jean Miers is an English cook, writer, and television presenter. She was born in February 1976, Cheltenham, United Kingdom. A product of St Paul’s Girls’ School, she is the daughter of Niki Miers and Probyn Miers and she is the wife of Mark Williams. She started to become well-recognized in the year 2005 when she won the BBC TV cookery competition MasterChef.

When it comes to her diet, Thomasina said in an interview, “I am serious about food but not dictatorial. My basic premise is that I cook most things we eat – never ready meals – and eat tons of vegetables. But I love an occasional McDonald’s. I eat a lot of butter, olive oil, melted cheese – so much fat. I put on two stone when I was at Ballymaloe. When my parents came to pick me up they had to bring a bigger pair of jeans for me to wear because I couldn’t fit into my old ones. I think you’ve got to have fun in life.”

Thomasina also shared that the first thing that she usually do in the morning is cooking healthy foods. “I’m up at 6.30am and make a pot of tea and the girls’ milk,” said Thomasina. “Breakfast is either a crazy cereal mix of nuts, seeds, fruit and oats, or toast – my mother makes a killer marmalade.”
