American actress Taylor Michel Momsen was born on July 26, 1993 in St. Louis, Missouri to parents Michael and Collette Momsen. Growing up in a religious environment, she attended school at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School in Maryland. She started to be seen on screen in 1999 when she was cast as Honey Bee Swan on The Prophet’s Game. A year after, she acted as Cindy Lou Who on Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas which earned her nominations for Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Favorite Female Newcomer, Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Favorite Female Newcomer, and Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor. In 2007, she was again nominated for Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Feature Film – Supporting Young Actress for her significant portrayal for the action comedy film Underdog. Meanwhile, Taylor is also famous for her role as Jennifer Humphrey on the popular TV series Gossip Girl from 2007 to 2012.
When Taylor was asked in one of her interviews about her fitness regimen, she simply said, “I just eat healthy. I walk a lot because I live in New York. So I try to walk a lot instead of taking cabs.”
In particular, she also likes to stay active by dancing. “I dance, so I guess that’s a full workout” she stated. “I’ve been dancing since I was three, so I guess that would be it.”
