Tamia, originally Tamia Marilyn Hill, is a Canadian singer and songwriter born on May 9, 1975 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She is famous for her R&B songs as well as various genres such as soft rock, jazz, gospel, neo soul, pop, and hiphop soul. Growing up in a religious environment, she developed a great enthusiasm on various songs especially religious songs. When she was six years old, she was already seen performing at their local church. At 12, she stepped up into musicals and participated different plays. Apart from singing, she also practiced playing piano and also worked with musician Eugene Davis. She started recording in the year 1995 and released her debut album. Her second album, on the other hand, was published on October 24, 2000. These days, she is known as one of the notable and successful artists in the music industry. 

Apart from performing on stage, Tamia is also known to be an enthusiast in working out. She takes care of her body by doing squats, deadlift, snatches, leg press, back extensions, and other workout regimen.

For her diet, she’s more into eating whole grain cereal, dark green vegetables, broccoli, and fish. She’s also noted to be a fan of yogurt and black tea. In addition, she always makes it sure that she drinks sufficient amount of water daily  to keep herself well-hydrated.
