Born on January 9, 1974 in Houston, Texas, United States, he is a product of the University of California in Los Angeles. In 1996, he finished 12th at the Olympic Trials. Sad to say, he was not able to make it to the U.S. Team. But he did not stop looking for success as he participated at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in the year 2001. Since then, his sports career became remarkable.

Stephen shared his diet in one of his interviews. He said, “I used to think it was all about carbs, carbs, carbs to get the energy. But over time, I realized I performed better when I kept that stuff in check.” Low-carbohydrates diet really does wonders to his physique. And it sure made him a lot stronger as well.

Stephen also revealed that he usually works out three hours a day using equipment. “Over the span of a three-hour workout, we’re probably only up on the equipment for 15 minutes,” he said. Well, just looking at his perfect, ripped physique, we already have an idea how intense his workout is!
