Skylar Kierra Diggins is an American professional basketball player. She was born on August 2, 1990 to parents Tige Diggins and Renee Scott. Presently, she plays for the Tulsa Shock of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). While attending school at Washington High School in South Bend, Indiana, she played for the Panthers and became a four-year starter. It was in the year 2013 when she was drafted in the WNBA draft and was chosen by the Tulsa Shock team. Since then, her professional basketball career became a huge success as she continues to play good in the court even up to these days.
So what’s her workout regime? According to Skylar in an interview, “I start working on my core strength and balance right after the season, using kettle bells, medicine balls and battle ropes. I really want to strengthen my body and get ready for my individual workouts and for the season.”
When it comes to diet, she usually increases her carbohydrate intake during heavy training days. But when she is on her resting days, she doesn’t indulge in heavy loaded carb foods.
