Sarah Ferguson - CelebHealthy_comSarah Ferguson, famously recognized as Sarah, Duchess of York, is the former wife of Prince Andrew, Duke of York who is the son of Queen Elizabeth II and and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. She was born on October 1, 1959 to Major Ronald Ferguson and Susan Mary Wright. A product of Daneshill School, Stratfield Turgis, she also attended at Hurst Lodge School, Ascot as well as the Queen’s Secretarial College by which she graduated at the age of eighteen. It was on 17th of  March 1986 when she and Prince Andrew announced their engagement. Together, they were married on July 23, 1986 in Westminster Abbey. After their marriage, Prince Andrew earned the title “Duke of York”. She, too, on the other hand, got the title “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of York”. In 1996, the royal couple unfortunately separated and got divorced.

The Duchess of York used to be overweight, but she was able to beat it and eventually lost weight. What’s her secret behind? Well, here’s what she said in one of her interviews: “I went up to the mountains, and I ran every day. That’s how I got fit.”

In addition, she went through a strict diet and exclusively consumes blended foods. According to her, she’s motivated to get fit not just for her own benefit but also to encourage other people to do the same. “I may have lost 30 pounds, but I want to help combat global obesity,” she said.
