Australian journalist and television news presenter Samantha Armytage was born on September 4, 1977 in Australia to parents Libby Armytage and Mac Armytage. A product of Charles Sturt University, she grew up on Bolaro Station in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales. It was in the year 1999 when she started her career in media at WIN Television in Canberra. Later on, she was hired by Sky News Australia where she worked as a chief political reporter. Throughout her career, she became more popular for being the co-host of Sunrise alongside Melissa Doyle.
Samantha became remarkable when she lost some pounds a year ago. What are her secrets? Well, according to her, it’s all about determination and discipline. She said she usually woke up around 3:40 AM and then she performed Yoga, cardio exercises, Pilates, walking, and resistance training.
She told the Daily Mail UK, “I had to make changes, because I need a lot more energy getting up so early five days a week. My doctor worries about the time I get up and she says if I feel tired she’d rather I had a nap than go to the gym. She says I’d lose more weight sleeping than working out… sleep is number one for me and then exercise.”
