Sally Margaret Field is an American actress, producer, screenwriter, director, and singer. She was born on November 6, 1946 in Pasadena, California. The daughter of Richard Dryden Field and Margaret Field, she is a product of Portola Middle School and Birmingham High School where she also spent her days as a cheerleader. In 1962, she started to appear on screen when she was cast for the film Moon Pilot, portraying a minor role. In 1965, she starred in the TV series Gidget and played the role Frances Elizabeth “Gidget” Lawrence. It followed by her acting performance in Hey, Landlord where she appeared as Bonnie Banner for four episodes. She had other acting appearances after that which made her become a remarkable and award-winning actress. This year, she appeared in the American superhero film The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and played the role Aunt May.
Sally was once diagnosed with the bone condition called osteoporosis which she was able to deal through the help of certain medications. Now, how does she continue to take care of her bones?
According to her when she was interviewed by lifescript, “I keep my bones healthy by doing weight-bearing exercises, cooking calcium-rich meals, taking daily calcium and vitamin D supplements and taking the medication prescribed by my doctor. After a year, my bone density test indicated that my bone loss from osteoporosis had stopped.”
