Ryan Phillippe, Matthew Ryan Phillippe by birth, is an American actor and director born on September 10, 1974 in New Castle, Delaware, USA to parents Susan and Richard Phillippe. Growing up, he used to be a student of New Castle Baptist Academy and a boy who loves to play soccer and basketball. He started to appear on screen when he became part of a daytime drama known as One Life to Live. After portraying the role Billy Douglas for a year, he appeared in one of the episodes of The Secrets of Lake Success and played the role Stew Atkins. Delving deeper into the entertainment world, he started to appear on big screen in 1995 and played the role Seaman Grattam. Currently, he is filming the upcoming American drama TV series Secrets & Lies.
To come up with a lean and ripped physique, he constantly practices a full-body workout. He usually performs barbell squats, hanging leg raise, dumbbell bench press, squat jump, close-grip chin-up, and dumbbell lunge. Keeping fit and healthy has really made Ryan feel naturally good. “Staying fit in your thirties, it’s not easy,” he says. “You have to work twice as hard for half the results. But I think it’s something all men need to consider. It really benefits the ageing process if you are fit. It makes getting older easier, or less unpleasant, anyway.”
