Romain Duris is a French actor. He was born on May 28, 1974 in Paris, France. He started his career as an actor in the year 1994, portraying the role Tomasi on the French coming of age comedy-drama Le péril jeune. In 1997, he became prominent when he appeared on Gadjo dilo and was nominated for Acteurs à l’Écran for Best Actor and César Award for Most Promising Actor. In 1999, he also earned the Lumières Award for Most Promising Actor for his impressive performance on Peut-être. His recent screen appearance was in 2014, particularly on the film The New Girlfriend. The said film earned him nominations for César Award for Best Actor and Lumières Award for Best Actor.
