Rocco DiSpirito - CelebHealthy_comFamous American celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito was born on November 19, 1966 in Queens, New York City. A graduate of Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, he is also a product of Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in business. In 1997, he opened a restaurant called Union Pacific which was located in Gramercy Park in Manhattan. It was in the year 2003 when he appeared on the reality TV program The Restaurant. The program lasted for a year and soon after, he came up with a new restaurant which was called Rocco’s. Eventually, he hosted the morning talk show Food Talk from 2004 to 2005. He also became a guest judge on the reality competition show Top Chef which was first aired in 2006.

Rocco is practicing a healthy lifestyle. In fact, he works out with a fitness trainer. Not only that. He’s also very enthusiastic in participating triathlon. And for two to three months, he was doing lots of cardio exercises.

Given that he’s a chef and he’s always exposed to testing a lot of recipes, he finds it hard to maintain a proper and healthy diet. But, he told the NY Daily News that he’s cutting down amounts of food that he eats. “I cut down on the quantity of the food that I taste, and that has made a big difference,” said Rocco.
