Robert Irvine is an English celebrity chef. He was born on September 24, 1965 in Salisbury, United Kingdom. He has particularly appeared on a variety of Food Network programs such as Dinner: Impossible, Worst Cooks in America, Restaurant: Impossible, and Restaurant Express. In the year 2011, he joined the TV program The Next Iron Chef wherein he became the second chef eliminated from the competition after losing a peanut secret-ingredient showdown against Chef Michael Chiarello. In 2012, he was also highlighted alongside Masaharu Morimoto and Ted Allen on the Battle Holiday Gingerbread episode of Iron Chef America.
Robert is apparently one of the men who still possess ripped physique despite being on their 40s. What’s his secret? Does he perform serious and grueling workouts such as weight lifting? Well, here’s what he said in one of his interviews: “I don’t do heavy weights. I’m 47 and too old for that now.” Instead, he just runs for about 20 minutes via treadmill or elliptical machine.
He said he also does some cardio exercises but usually avoids doing leg workouts. “I very rarely do legs because I do cardio about 20 minutes every day. So I try not to do too many leg workouts other than running,” he explained.
