Robert De Niro was born on August 17, 1943 in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York to parents Virginia Admiral and Robert De Niro, Sr. He is an American actor, producer, and director. He was 20 years old when he officially started his acting career, debuting on the 1969 film The Wedding Party. His first acting performance was a success for he was able to gather attention from directors, leading him to series of acting projects afterwards. Eventually, he was seen on films such as The Godfather Part II by which he was able to bag the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor award. After years of acting, he soon delved into directing. One of his directing works was the film The Good Shepherd in 2007 by which he was also one of the acting cast. Nowadays, he is considered as one of the highly respected celebrities in the industry.
Even at the age of 71, Robert still has the lean and fit and fit body. His secret is of course, doing regular workout. And not just an ordinary workout. He prefers grueling ones. He is noted to train with his fitness coach Dan Harvey. Usually he performs bench dip, pull-up, push-up, jump squat, hanging leg raise, and hand stand hold. According to his trainer, “I wanted to increase his muscle mass and bring down his body fat.”
When it comes to his diet, Robert follows a low-carb diet, a helpful dietary practice in getting rid of fats and unnecessary nutrients that may hinder muscle building.
