A-lister actress, producer, and voice actress Renée Zellweger, originally Renée Kathleen Zellweger, was born in Katy, Texas on April 25, 1969. She is known to have Swiss, Norwegian, and Finnish ancestry. During her childhood, she used to be very athletic as she participated various sports such as football, basketball, soccer, and baseball. She also used to be a cheerleader, gymnast, and a member of a drama club while studying at Katy High School. While she was attending college in the University of Texas at Austin, she took a drama class and was fascinated about it, which made her decide to pursue it one day. In 1992, she was able to land her first screen appearance when she got the part Mary Lou in the TV film A Taste for Killing. Her first exposure was an impression that’s why she was again hired to play for another role which is in the TV film Murder in the Heartland. She rose to prominence for her role Dorothy Boyd in the movie Jerry Maguire alongside Tom Cruise in 1996. Later on, she became more famous for doing the main role for Bridget Jones’s Diary. During her interview with Glamour, she shared that she’s keeping her body in shape by running. “It’s my outlet, the one thing I do during the day that’s mine and mine alone. I don’t want to work with a trainer, and I don’t want to go with friends to the gym. It’s my solitude, and I need it,” said Renée.
To keep her body slim and svelte, she practices a low-fat and low-carb diet. She also consumes foods with lots of protein like fish and greens.
