Radha Rani Amber Indigo Ananda Mitchell, better known as Radha Mitchell, is an Australian actress. She was born on November 12, 1973 in Melbourne, Australia. She started appearing on screen in 1988 when she played the role Pixie Robinson in the ABC TV’s Australian children’s television series Sugar and Spice. The show ended in 1989 and by then, she had batch of role appearances, including her exposures in TV series All Together Now, Phoenix, Law of the Land, and Blue Heelers. In 1996, she became part of the TV soap opera Neighbours and also had her first role on big screen in the romantic comedy film Love and Other Catastrophes. She also had other series of roles in films including her roles in Cleopatra’s Second Husband, Phone Booth, Man on Fire, Visitors, Silent Hill, Surrogates, The Frozen Ground, and a lot more.
In one of Radha’s interviews, she admitted that she’s a certified Yoga freak. And this is definitely the reason why even at 40, she still stays fit and healthy. “I’ve done yoga three or four times a week for about nine years – Ashtanga and Iyengar – and I was never interested in it for the aerobic aspect. But now I’m more appreciative of that. Mostly I’ve done it to help with stress – if you carry tension in your body, yoga stretches out your muscles and takes it out. Plus, you can put your legs behind your head,” she expressed.
Apart from working out, she also watches her diet and always sees to it that she maintains her vegetarian diet practices.
