Rachael May Taylor, Australian actress and model, was born on July 11, 1984 in Launceston, Tasmania. Ever since she was a child, she’s already present in various school plays and the dream of becoming an actress lived on. In the year 2004 she appeared in a TV film entitled “The Mystery of Natalie Wood” and 2005 “Man Thing”. She also portrayed the role of Maggie Madsen in the box-office movie “Transformers” (2007) and Jane Shaw in the Thai film remake of “Shutter” (2008). In 2011, she played the character of Anne in “The Darkest Hour” and Ann in 2014 “The Loft”. Rachael also starred in 2005 mini-series “Hercules”, where she embraced the character of Sphinx. She also played a recurring role in 8 episodes of 2011 “Grey’s Anatomy” as Dr. Lucy Fields. She also plays the main role of Jane Van Veen in “666 Park Avenue” (2012-2013) and Susie Dunn in “Crisis” (2014). Aside from her acting career, she also modeled for Skye-Jilly International and made it successfully to the finals of Miss Teen Tasmania.
Rachael greatly relies on weights to tone her whole body, including her stomach and to keep her body warm she sees to it that she runs on treadmill for her interval training.
She is not in favor of dieting; rather, she values the importance of practicing moderation in her diet, and concentrates on eating healthy and nutritious foods.
