Pooja Gandhi - CelebHealthy_comPooja Gandhi, otherwise known as Sanjana Gandhi, was born on October 7, 1983 in Ganjimutt, Vandela. She is the daughter of Pawan Gandhi and Jyothi Gandhi. In 2003, she started to be seen on screen, playing a significant role on Tomake Salam. Three years later, she was again highlighted on screen and was cast on Tamil language film Kokki, playing the role Raji and on Mungaru Male playing the role Nandini.

Afterwards, she became one of the celebrities that constantly appear on motion pictures including the 2007 film Taj Mahal which earned her a nomination for Filmfare Award for Best Kannada Actress. In 2012, she gained much recognition as she won the Suvarna Film Award for Best Actress and SIIMA Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role for having an impressive performance on Dandupalya. These days, she is busy filming five upcoming films.

Pooja usually spends hours working out at the gym. At the same time, she always watches what she eats. She said when she was interviewed by New Indian Express, “I do not want to cross the 50 kilogram mark. I don’t take dinner, its only fruit salads and juices at night and I avoid rice completely. I take a cup of tea in the morning and after two hours of workout, I take a few fruits and juices. My lunch is one chapathi and fruits. I like to have herbal tea of Himalaya Foods. I dip the tea sachet in a hot water and do not mix milk to it. It is my favourite tea.”

Now that’s how serious she is in maintaining her weight.
