Born on July 3, 1973 in Norfolk, Virginai, USA, Patrick Wilson is not just a fine American actor, but he is also a singer who started singing lead roles in 1996 in major Broadway musicals. His performance in 2003 HBO miniseries “Angel in America” led him to receive a Golden Globe and an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actor. In 2004, he was nominated for Satellite Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, for his remarkable performance in the film “The Phantom of the Opera”. He was nominated again for Satellite Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Drama for his performance as Brad Adamson in 2006 “Little Children”. Patrick was also nominated for Scream Award for Best Horror Actor for the American supernatural horror “Insidious” (2010).
Patrick also portrayed the role of Nite Owl II in 2009 “Watchmen”, Agent Vance Buress in 2010 “The A-Team”, Ed Warren in 2013 “The Conjuring”, and continued the character of Josh Lambert in 2013 “Insidious: Chapter 2”.
Well, he’s not only good in acting but he’s also a man with a kind heart. Together with his brothers, Mark and Paul, they performed a benefit concert for Southeastern Guide Dogs’ “Paws for Patriots” program in St. Petersburg, Florida last May 26, 2012, where they raised $30,000 for the program.
When asked in one of his interviews about how he keeps his body in shape, he said: “I am an avid runner, mainly on weekends. I have a treadmill and a pull-up bar in my dressing room. I think drinking a lot of water and sweating it out while running helps get rid of all the toxins. It helps my skin, body and spirit, too.”
Despite having burgers and pizzas on the top list of his favorite foods, Patrick still sticks with the importance of eating in moderation as part of his diet plan.
