She is most especially famous for her participation on South Indian films, primarily in Kannada. She started her career in the year 2000, debuting on the Hindi film Meri Aaghosh Mein. Since then, she was constantly seen on big screen, portraying various roles on different films.

Now what’s her way to keep such a stunning figure? When she was interviewed by Times of India, she said, “For the last few months, I have been working hard to be fit and healthy. It has become a big priority for me. Being fit should be one’s goal, and not just being slim and toned. Our body, rather my body, often gets accustomed to a particular routine, hence it is best to break the monotony. This means I have to challenge my body every other day with different kinds of workouts. I work out four-five times a week, and I usually engage in a high-power cardio activity like power yoga, skipping, brisk walking or dancing.”

She added, “If I do a one-and-a-half hour power yoga session one day, the next I go for a swim and on the third day I may go for a brisk walk or practise dance. Any cardio activity that increases the heart rate, at least four-five times a week, helps you increase your metabolic rate, build stamina and lose fat mass. Such different forms of cardio activity help me break the boredom of what people call `exercise’ and I can do it at any comfortable time unlike boring gym regimes. I enjoy power yoga, kick-boxing, dancing, swimming, skipping, and spinning so I have a number of exercises to choose from. Plug in your favourite playlist and off you go to a healthy start.”
