Natalie Anne Barr is an Australian journalist and news and television presenter. She was born on March 19, 1968 in Bunbury, Australia. A product of Curtin University, she worked in newspaper, radio, and television journalism prior to moving to Los Angeles and working for KABC, KTLA, and KCOP. She became a remarkable journalist when she earned the Golden Mic for best newscast writing. She was also nominated for a Los Angeles area Emmy Award for her impressive performance on the O.J. Simpson car chase.
According to Natalie in one of her interviews, she used to be unhealthy when it comes to her lifestyle. However, she eventually made changes in order to lose some pounds and stay healthy. “I’d been snacking way too much, eating large portions and not exercising— three things that can lead to extra kilos creeping on. It wasn’t the dryer’s fault; it was mine,” she expressed. “So I got off my butt, switched to healthier meals and moved more. Simple!”
She continued, “As the ambassador for Can Too, I’ve been inspired to push myself harder with exercise. I’ve even completed a 10km race! Most importantly, it’s encouraged me to maintain my fitness. And it’s hard to stay motivated at times— really hard.” So you see, hard work and discipline really pay off.
