She was born on September 28, 1968 to parents Myfanwy Edwards and Peter Watts. Prior to acting, Naomi started to appear in television as a commercial model. It was in 1986 when she finally landed her first role in the the Australian movie directed by Stephen Wallace For Love Alone. Later on, she appeared as a cast in two episodes of the Australian sitcom Hey Dad..! In 1993, she decided to move to the US to find her better path to a successful acting career. She was introduced to several agents. At first, her career struggled but eventually, she was able to regain it by being able to win the supporting role in the film Tank Girl in 1995. Currently, she is busy filming her new movies which will be released this year and next year– Birdman and While We’re Young.

When it comes to keeping her body in fit and perfect shape, Naomi shares that she’s collaborating with her personal fitness trainer Daniel Loigerot, a Pilates instructor. Pilates, according to Daniel, is a very effective workout regimen. It helps boost your body’s coordination, breathing and symmetry.

As for her diet, the actress says she consumes meals with 40% carbohydrates, 30% proteins, and 30% fats. The foods included in her diet are fruits, vegetable, and nuts. Additionally, she increases her water intake to keep herself hydrated.
