Nancy Jean Cartwright is an American actress and voice actress famous for her roles on television and films. She was born on October 25, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio. The daughter of Frank and Miriam Cartwright, she grew up in Kettering, Ohio and developed a love for voices at a very early age. Prior to fame, she worked for commercials on WING radio in Dayton, particularly doing voice-overs. In 1980, she landed her first acting job on screen and played the role Gloria Patterson on the TV show The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show. She later on became part of the animated series “Fat Albert”, lending her voice for a certain character. In 1983, she earned her first role on big screen which was on the film Twilight Zone: The Movie. She also played the role Pistol Pete on the TV series Goof Troop and particularly appeared for 55 episodes from 1992 to 1993. Her latest screen appearance was in 2013 where she played part on American Dad.
So how does the famous voice actress take care of her body? According to her in one of her interviews, “I’ve taken classes in ballroom dancing and even competed in a local charity benefit—doing the rhumba. I also like—get this—stock car racing! My top speed is 158.2 mph.”
When asked about her diet, she said, “I love food! I think you can eat whatever you want in moderation. And if you don’t remember, your body will certainly remind you!”.
