Mollie Katzen is an American chef, cookbook author, and artist. She was born on October 13, 1950 in Rochester, New York, United States. She was educated at San Francisco Art Institute, as well as Cornell University and Eastman School of Music. Popular for her vegetarian cookbook the Moosewood Cookbook which was published in the year 1977, she is also the author of several other best-selling vegetarian cookbooks, including The Enchanted Broccoli Forest which was released in the year 1982 as well as the Still Life with Menu published in 1988. With over 5 million books in print, she is listed by The New York Times as one of the best-selling cookbook authors of all time.
In one of her interviews, Mollie shared how she keeps her body healthy even at the age of 64. According to her, she eats healthily. She’s a fan of fruits and vegetables. She also eats foods with fats– but only those good fats. She also limits her intake of carbs and usually opts for foods with healthy proteins.
In addition, she always makes it a point to drink lots of water to keep her body well-hydrated. And of course, she loves to move more and eat mindfully all day long.
