Mitchell Guy Johnson is an Australian cricketer. He was born on November 2, 1981 in Townsville, Australia. He was 17 years old when he joined a fast-bowling clinic in Brisbane. Presently a left-arm fast bowler and left-handed batsman, he earned an award called International Cricket Council’s “Cricketer of the Year” in the year 2009. He also gained the and “Test Player of the year” in the year 2014.
According to Mitchell, he usually keeps his body fit by visiting the Mill gym, an elite fitness gym that exclusively caters only 100 members. Now this gym isn’t your ordinary gym because it advises anyone to leave if he or she is not training hard enough. Whoa! What a motivating gym there! But it sure made his body feel better as his strength and flexibility really improved, according to him.
He expressed in an interview, “I would never have been able to do that before. I would never have been able to push myself to the brink, to push myself hard enough to see gains. But I now enjoy training on my own for that very reason: every session I can feel it improving my mental strength.”
As for his diet, he said, “I have been eating differently– a lot more protein and less carbs. I have heaps of energy and I have stayed lean.”
