Mike Vogel, Michael James Vogel by birth, is an American actor and former fashion model. He was born on July 17, 1979 in Abington Township, Pennsylvania, USA. He started as a model before he went through Hollywood as he used to be one of Levi’s hunk models. In the year 2001, he was able to land a role in the TV sitcom Grounded for Life. His appearance to the said program made him become easily noticed because apart from his efficient acting performance, he has an irresistible and arresting image. He soon had another break when he was cast in the 2003 adventure comedy film Grind. Meanwhile his other films include Rumor Has It…, Poseidon, The Help, and What’s Your Number? And if you want to see more of this guy, you may watch his upcoming TV film In My Dreams wherein he will play the role Nick and will work together with Katharine McPhee.
Apparently, Mike has an amazing body. With his ripped physique and lean muscle tone, it’s no wonder why a lot of producers hunt him for a movie cast. What’s his secret towards becoming lean and well chiseled, anyway? Well, aside from being athletic (because he simply loves to play baseball), he shares that he does regular workout. “I do things that are very uncharacteristic of a normal workout routine,” he confides. “I hate cardio. Absolutely hate it. I grew up as a wrestler, so it was constant cardio, cardio, cardio.”
When it comes to diet, he says he follows what his mom advises him to consume. A smaller amount of lean meat and vegetables in a day. “At 49, my mom is a competitive bodybuilder,” he shares. “She’s been a big factor in how I’ve changed my diet.”
