She was born on February 12, 1987 in Windsor, Canada to parents Char Agosta and Nino Agosta. Currently, she plays for the Montreal Stars of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League. A product of Mercyhurst College, she was the first freshman to ever become one of the top three picks for the Patty Kazmaier Award during the 2006–07 season. Presently, she continues to be a prominent ice hockey player.

In one of Meghan’s interviews, she shared how she keeps her body fit at all times. Here’s what she revealed about her and her teammates’ training: “We start every workout with roll outs. Then warm up with some sort of cardio like the bike. Our trainers create a training program for us, so the workouts change daily. We’ll do everything from back squats to pull-ups to weights. We also train on ice every day.”

Now on to her diet. “I think it’s super important for high-performance athletes to be healthy all the time,” she said. “I load up on carbs and protein, and like my mom says ‘always eat your greens’. I keep it interesting by trying to make different things every day.”
