Maya Moore - CelebHealthy_comMaya April Moore is an American professional basketball player. She was born on June 11, 1989 in Jefferson City, Missouri to Kathryn Moore. A student of Collins Hill High School in Gwinnett County, she was already seen playing basketball while she was younger, particularly averaging 23.2 points, 11.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 5.4 steals during her junior year. During her college years at the University of Connecticut, she was also able to make her skills in basketball well-improved, which led her to the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). In 2011, she was labeled as the Rookie of the Year. Presently, she plays for the Minnesota Lynx.

When Maya was asked in one of her interviews about how she stays fit and healthy, she said that she usually does quick workouts. She said, “One of my favorite pieces of equipment is a jump rope. It’s portable, and you don’t need much space—or coordination— to use it.”

When it comes to her diet, she doesn’t seem to practice any special type. In fact, she’s known to be a foodie and with guilty-pleasure foods, too! “Red velvet cake is my absolute favorite,” she shared. “It has to be an actual slice of cake, not a cupcake; there’s more surface area, so the icing ratio is higher. That makes all the difference.”
