She started playing tennis at the age of four and started joining competitions at the age of seven. She was World No. 1 for a total of 332 weeks in singles and a record 237 weeks in doubles. This makes her the only player in history to have attained the top spot in both singles and doubles for over 200 weeks. According to the World No. 1 player Billie Jean King, Martina is the “greatest singles, doubles and mixed doubles player who’s ever lived.”

Although Martina no longer joins competition, she is still very conscious when it comes to fitness. She regularly makes workout a part of her day. She actually loves running, skiing, playing basketball, and hockey.

For her diet, some sources suggest that she’s practicing a vegetarian diet, some say she’s following plant-based one. But actually, she eats meat and animal products but just in minimal amount. In particular, she’s a fan of organic foods. When it comes to her meal preferences, she mostly eats cereals with fresh fruit every morning. She also opts for oatmeal and yogurt.
